They sit in the ground or on brackets, spaced several feet apart, with wall supports (girts) and roof supports (purlins) spanning between them. Oklahoma law does exempt usual farm buildings from county permit fees in unincorporated areas, and Creek County currently issues no building permits there at all. Inside city limits that exemption does not apply, and Sand Springs requires a permit. Floodplain rules can still apply anywhere. Ask your own county or city before you order.
